Position Purpose

The photo editor is responsible for shooting news, feature and sports photos for the Muleskinner. This editor is also responsible for processing the photos and writing photo captions. Additionally, this editor helps recruit other photo contributors and coordinates all photo assignments.

Education & Formal Training
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Other - Photoshop

Must have some photography and photo editing skills. Photojournalism skills are preferred but creative photographers are encouraged to apply as well.

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position: Driver's license
Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Attention to detail, Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal, Knowledge of a University environment preferred, Leadership skills: organization/meeting facilitation/project leadership, Supervisory skills, including motivation, delegation of duties, evaluation, etc, Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines
