Position Purpose

The Assistive Technology Lab Tech (AAC Lab Tech) will assist in training students to program and use augmentative and alternative communication devices and switches. The AAC Lab Tech will instruct students in device demonstration tasks and will aid them in demonstrating competency in operating the various AAC devices and in teaching others how to use the devices.

Experience

Must be a student currently admitted to the Speech-Language Pathology Master of Science Program. Must have completed course CD 5511 Assistive Technology across the Lifespan with a grade of “B” or better.
