Position Purpose

All positions pay current minimum wage

Qualifications:

• 2.00 cumulative and semester GPAs or no college hours earned
• Live on campus (Residence Hall or University Apartment)
• Good standing with University and University Housing
• Not on probation
MUST BE ABLE & WILLING TO WORK SOME NIGHT/EARLY MORNING SHIFTS (Midnight – 6 AM)
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SOME WEEKEND SHIFTS

Office Assistant

• Works scheduled hours (maximum of 20 hours per week) at a Residence Hall Desk.
• Responsible for all desk operations while on duty.
• Provides information to students, faculty, staff and visitors about the University.
• Responsible for the distribution of change; receiving, sorting and distribution of US and campus mail, provides other desk services as approved by the Office of University Housing.
• Maintains positive role model behavior.
• Follows all policies and procedures outlined in the Office Assistant Manual.
• Available and willing to work a variety of shifts including weekends and late night/early morning hours.

Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation
Experience

Must live on campus and maintain a 2.00 GPA both semester and cumulative

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position:
Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal, Knowledge of a University environment preferred, Maintain confidentiality
