Position Purpose

The Web Project Manager and Strategist is responsible for the overall management of UCM’s recruitment-focused website. This is a strategic but hands-on role working within a team of marketing specialists and designers. Primary responsibilities include:

Growing web traffic through organic search and other non-paid channels.

Increasing site conversion rates.

Expanding site functionality and user engagement.

Increasing lead and revenue production from assigned websites.

Cultivating and providing regular fresh content to the website in order to SEO leverage.

The Web Project Manager and Strategist will assist in the creation of SEO marketing strategy, drive tactical execution on a day-to-day-basis, analyze performance data, communicate insights, create and implement action plans, and continuously collaborate with web team members, web editors, web content managers, subject matter experts, and other key campus stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations, marketing, computer science or related field required.

Master’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations, marketing, computer science or related field preferred.

Computer Skills Word-Processing, Presentation, Desktop Publishing, Web Page Maintenance, Other - Internet research and social media
Experience

Two (2) years of web experience required.

Two (2) years of project management experience required.

Two (2) years of Google Analytics experience required.

Two (2) years of CMS experience required.

Social media knowledge required.

Google Analytics certification preferred.

Two (2) years of Google Webmaster Tools experience preferred.

Two (2) years of MOZ experience preferred.

Inbound link management experience preferred.

Experience using media relationship management tools preferred.

Google Experiments experience preferred.

Two (2) years of writing experience preferred.

Two (2) years of marketing experience preferred.

Customer relationship knowledge preferred.

Supervisory experience preferred.
