Position Purpose

Position Purpose: State briefly the principal purpose or focus of the position. 1. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of New Student Programs oversee the Campus Visit Office. This position will supervise multiple student workers and a graduate assistant in the Campus Visit Office while being in charge of the day to day operations of the CVO. Job duties to include scheduling of campus visits, freshman and transfer orientations, new student programming, and enrollment appointments.
2. Provide administrative support to Assistant Director New Student Programs. This includes scheduling, processing residency petitions, managing the communication flow, and assisting with front desk coverage, as needed.
3. Communicate with UCM faculty, staff, and advisors to successfully facilitate various on campus visit programs in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Position will be required to attend meetings with UCM faculty, staff, and advisors to plan and strategize effective visit models and delivery methods, in support of Assistant Director of New Student Programs.

Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Other - Database creation and management preferred
Experience

Two (2) years of customer service, admissions, project management, or office management experience required.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Preference will be given to current or past UCM employees.
