Position Purpose

The School of Technology at the University of Central Missouri invites applications for a 9 month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to teach classes in the Construction Management program starting Fall 2018.

The successful candidate will teach construction management courses, work with student organizations, develop curriculum and labs, foster industry contacts, recruit students, assess course results, and conduct scholarly research.

Education & Formal Training Master's degree (Specify field(s) of study below)
Other Education & Formal Training

1. Earned Doctorate preferred; Master’s degree required. NOTE: The earned doctorate is required prior to tenure consideration.
2. Either Bachelor or Master’s degree must be in Construction Management, Architecture, or closely related field.

Experience

Required:
1. Three (3) years relevant U.S. construction industry experience required.
2. Communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
Preferred:
1. Professional credentials (CPC, LEED AP, PMP, etc.)
2. Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
