Position Purpose

• Assist with activity coordination and promotion
• Attend activities

• Assist with Conversation Partner Program
• Assist with various projects (e.g. Library, Website/Tech Projects, Yearbook, Inventories)

- Assist with ELI Ambassador Program

• Set up appointments for students and director
• Ensure that the front desk is attended
• Answer inquiries and assist with correspondence via email, mail, phone
• Do presentations about the ELI, such as classroom visits promoting Conversation Partner Program

ORIENTATION (takes place one week before classes and in between sessions)
• Assist with airport pick-ups (take van safety training)
• Assist with student moves
• Assist with Wal-Mart runs
• Assist with IEP placement testing
• Assist in all orientation activities

• Record payments (procurement and other)

• Assist instructors with instructional materials including photocopying, purchasing supplies, etc.

—Support Activities Chairs, JSO Advisor, ISO Advisors

• As assigned

Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation

Experience working in an office preferred.
Experience working with International Student population preferred.
